Hey folks,

Just a heads up that the deadline for slashababy is drawing near! All fics are due in by 11:59pm on 10 December 2006. We have gotten a few fics in at this time. All emailed submissions should get (or will get once the mods get time to actually check the comm email) an email confirmation that we've gotten the fics. So please keep an eye out for them. If you don't receive an email confirmation within 48 hours of sending in your fic, leave a comment in this post and we'll see if it's just email being tweaky or if it got lost out in nether regions of cyberspace.

Thank you to the authors who have already given us a heads up on potentially late fics. If your fic will be late due to real life circumstances, please let us know at once! If you find yourself unable to complete slasha, please let us know at once! I know unexpected real life issues sometimes throws us all for a loop, and we can work to accommodate that... if we know about them.

We are also working on updating the slasha website and fic archive, so if you happen to see mistakes or broken links on there, please let us know so that we can correct them. I know that the links to the 2003, 2004 and 2006 fic archives are broken at the moment, and they will be fixed eventually. The only working archive right now is the 2005 fic archive.

Heya everybody,

I hope all of you are having a good Hallowe'en. Slasha assignments have gone out tonight. Please read them over carefully to make sure that you are fine with the assignments. Reply to the email once you receive it so that we know you have gotten your assignment.

If you are having any problems at all, please let us know by 5 November, so we have time to make some changes. Once that date has passed, you are stuck with what you were assigned.

If you have not received your assignment, comment on this post, and we will get your assignment to you asap!

Slasha sign ups have been extended another 24 hours to and end on 21 October at midnight, PST (GMT -8). Folks still interested in signing up should leave a comment on the sign up post.

All slashas who have already signed up need to friend the community so we can leave announcements here knowing that you guys will get them. We just need you lot to friend it through 1 January when Slasha officially ends. Also, if you haven't already, please leave a comment on the roll call post.

Hey all,

We are starting sign ups for slashababy for this Christmas. The requirements are the same as previous years. This is a lotrips story exchange. All fics should be at least 1 000 words in length. We're trying to make sure that somebody doesn't write 10 pages of fic to only get a drabble in return.

+ Sign ups start from today and end on 20 October 21 October.
+ Pairings will go out by 30 October.
+ The deadline for all fics is for 10 December.
+ Fics will be posted on 25 December in time for Christmas.
+ Authors will be revealed on 31 December in time for New Years' Day.
