help with automated archives for slasha?

Hi all, I've been told that other holiday story exchanges have already started up, so I'd like to get this going by October or so.

This year, to avoid the mods going bonkers, we need an automated archive system, so people can upload their own fics. If I never have to convert MS Word formatting again, I'll be a happy camper!

I'm a moderately adept web type person with some Perl skills so if necessary, I'll install something myself. But I need advice and help from those of you who've done such things before.
