Oh, this is lovely - far and beyond what I expected when I proffered my slightly whimsical request :) I always love fic with Ian, and Billy is always my go to guy to cheer me up, so I can really appreciate that this is still so full of joy, despite the melancholy that seeps in around the edges. They find each other for a magical time, and that's wonderful - and over champagne, no less! How completely appropriate, I love it. Thank you so much, what a gorgeous present for New Year's day!
