A huge Christmassy hug and a thank you to the author of my lovely story Just Because.

I haven't a clue who you are, but then Slasha is full of people I don't know this year. When the authors are revealed, I promise I'll be reading some more of your fic!

The [livejournal.com profile] slashababy fic that was written for me, For Want of a Bean, is absolutely fucking fantastic. It's dirty, it's porny, it's an orgy fic! I love it, and thank you so much, whoever wrote it.

*giggle!!*

Hindsight is lovely Elijah/Dom angst, set in LA, fall 2003. Elijah's voice is very strong and his feelings are beautifully conveyed. The stylistic choice works very well, and it rewards a second read.

the pictures in your skin is for a slashababy dropout, and what a lovely present it is. It's set during the last party before filming ends, with a wonderful, slightly-morose, sober Elijah and a giggly drunk bottom-y Orlando. And tattoos. And hot sex.

Untitled is almost two stories in one. The first part is a hot, sexual Sean POV about heping Viggo deal with tension. The second is an interesting angsty threesome between Karl/Orlando and lesbian!Miranda. Very explicit, very adult, definitely not schmoopy fluff.

Something Real is Billy/Dom, full of good but angsty dialog, not pretending that everything is easy. Properly imperfect first-time sex, complicated emotions that really work for me.

Dear anonymous person who wrote me Everybody Does Elijah,

Who are you and how did you know that is exactly my sort of thing? Ooh. I think I've melted inside. And this, this one sentence -

It soon became apparent that this was not the first time young Elijah Wood had sucked cock.

- will stay with me for the rest of the day. I swear. Oh dear god. Thank you so much for this. <333

Merry Christmas, indeed!

♥!

To my mystery author:
Thank you so much for Tête-à-tête! Marton/Sean is so damn hard to come by, and I got this lovely, long fic. Mmm. I love the artist/model setup, because it reminds me of Caravaggio. I don't know if this was intentional, but I love it all the same. ;)

*wibbles happily*

N'awwwww!

Thank you, author of Corners and Rhythms, whoever you are!

When I first saw all the pairings, I felt bad, because I'd meant it to be an either/or sort of thing, not a "you must cram all three pairings into one fic" sort of thing. Er, and if you did think that, I still am sorry! But am also glad, because I really love the fic. :D

I love fics where someone's fucking someone and thinking of someone else, and I didn't even put that anywhere in my request! So this is great with Dom and Orli and Dom and Lij and Orli and Lij and everything all tangled together.

Loved the writing style, too - spare, but giving you all the information you need.

Thanks again, it was a wonderful present!

:)

Thank you so much, whoever wrote Hitchhiker
- wow! That must have taken you ages, so thank you so much :) It's hot and sweet Viggo/Elijah and is just so lovely. I loved your Elijah and Viggo in this, and did I say it was hot?! Perfect, and I will be reading again and again, believe me. Happy Holidays!

Thanks to the writer of my fic, Wager.

My secret kink! Viggo taking pictures of the hobbits! Lo, I am dead!
[identity profile] saklani2.livejournal.com
To the lovely author of Interchangeable Hobbits.... *kisses all over*

Thank you for this lovely little ficcy! I was so sad that Viggo did not get his Dommie, but Billy is certainly a worhy person for anyone's heart. And I am glad you did not just have Viggo prroclaim his love then and there, but made it more realistic with them building slowly. Opens up all kinds of sequal possibilities! ;)

I do hope you had fun writing this for me! Its always a lovely gift to get a fiction and read it, knowing it was written for you. I look forward to this part of Christmas as much as any other. When I get to know who you are, I shall give you even more huggles!

Thank you again!

I think it's fantastic that people are posting comments for their stories. It's wonderful, just the right way to say thank you!

Please be sure to link to your story in your post, so people can click to it, instead of going to the site and scrolling around.

All readers are welcome to comment on the story posts -- you can be sure the authors are going to read them and more feedback is a fabulous thing!

Finally, guessing is fun. Try to figure out who wrote what, and enjoy yourselves :-)

Dear person who wrote my present fic:

Thank you so much! It's a lovely, poignant story, and it captures both the sweetness and the angst of Sean/Elijah in skillful, smooth prose with deft, sensitive emotional exposition. I love the undercurrent of sadness and separation due to circumstance that exists in most realistic slashy relationship between the two of them, and you did a great job bringing it out while keeping both Sean and Elijah very engaging and likeable-- and dealing with the marriage while keeping Sean likeable, too.

I appreciate the hard work and the care that went into your writing, and I love the results! :-D <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
