SlashaBaby 2011 signups now open!

Sign-ups for 2011 slashababy -- the LotR RPS story exchange since 2002 -- are now open! A chance to give and get a fanfic gift, and share with the whole fandom!

The rules are the same as previous years -- all participants get an assignment to write for another participant, matched so that everyone has pairings and themes that appeal to them. Each story should be at least 1,000 words, though there is no maximum: some people have written epics (good ones!). The stories are due on Boxing Day, and we'll post them on New Year's Eve. Everyone gets a chance to read the stories and leave comments, including guessing who wrote them, as we won't reveal the authors until January 6.

Requested pairings: My favorite pairings are VigBean, Viggo/Billy, and Viggo or Bean with Karl; I'd take anything with Viggo, Bean, Billy or Karl paired with anyone except Orlando, Astin or John (the big exception would be Billy/Orlando)
Requested genres: I can take some angst but it must be resolved by the end (I'm definitely a happily-ever-after kind of girl). Would prefer the focus be on the relationship and not just on sex. No character death or dom/sub or bdsm. Love NZ fic and AUs so very flexible there.
Pairings and/or genres you absolutely will not write: I can't write bdsm, pwp or anything where the focus is on sex; I'm only good at mild angst; won't write VigOrli; would prefer not to write Orlando, Astin or John paired with anyone but I can write Orlando as part of a pairing. I'm a G and PG kind of writer, I'm afraid.
Willing to be backup? I'm sorry, no.
